    Question Open File Location

When there are pinned items in the Taskbar, you often have a recent files list, so you open files, but to open the file's location (i.e. containing folder) it doesn't work for all pinned items in Taskbar, but it works from start menu.

For Word pinned in Taskbar, it opened the file location before.

But now i don't see the Open File Location at all in Taskbar and in Startmenu.
I checked with my friend and he also told me:

indeed, where did I see that
maybe I hallucinated a bit lol
    Any ideas?

Try Shift +Right click , you'll get additional options

Is it that (see picture) what you are talking about. If yes, just right click on the Icon.

@vasudev: Shift +Right click gives additional options when you just do that on a icon in the Taskbar. It doesn't act on the pinned items of that icon or its resent entries.

I think you misunderstood my question. you must think I want the recent files list, but what I don't see anymore is when I right click one one of these, there is no more "open file location" entry in the context menu. This was my question.
I think you thought I was just talking about the file list.

    More detail:
When I right click on one of the files in the jump list such as the one pictured in whs's post (pinned files, or recent files), in the context menu there is no more "open file location".

I'm getting the option but not for all Recent list items but for some of them only. may need some reg tweak. Even just with Rt.click I'm getting 'Open File location' option. Shift+Rt.click adds more option.
