Default Question Running a program that can't be killed by a normal user

    Hello everybody

I need, as an administrator, to let the users run a program at logon which remaps some keyboard keys, in order to better use a particular measurement application. In particular I need to disable the print screen, because the application visualizes confidential data.

I also need, for security reasons, to disallow the user to remap the keyboard and to kill the program.

Does anybody have any idea on how to do that?

    Thanks for your reply

    cheers

Did you consider that the user could use any old snipping program (and there are many on the web) to copy your confidential materials. If the users can install programs, that's what they just might do.

I'm not %100 sure, but I think you could use Group policy Editor (gpedit.msc) to restrict/allow users from using certain functions.

I forgot to say the normal user is not permitted to install any program.
