    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    What are you trying to do Japp? Remove the shortcut arrow overlay?

    If you are, then I'd suggest leaving that/throwing it. I've uploaded a Blank icon overlay I made to MediaFire.

    All you need to do is drop the Blank.ico in your C:\Windows folder, then run the .reg file that points to it, et voila! No more shortcut arrows. Guaranteed not to produce a black square overlay like so many others tend to.

    As to why you're getting the error.....

    Elmer B: Trying to give a small arrow and get rid of the text "shortcut".

    Wondering if that error also is the cause to that CoolBarz don't work (works on another pc of mine).

    As to changing the arrow to a smaller one, I can, if you like, make a smaller arrow icon for you. You'd use it basically as per the Blank.ico I made.

    To get rid of the "shortcut" in the shortcut name, save this as a .reg file.
    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer]
    "link"=hex:00,00,00,00
    Merge it into your registry and then do a re-start of your PC.

    HTH.

    I've uploaded the shortcut arrows to MediaFire. ARROW ICO I've made two sizes, Med and Small.

    I'm perplexed that the .reg file didn't work

    I've uploaded the actual .reg file I use as well. SHORTCUT - REMOVE. Give it a go. It might be a permissions thing but it's been a fair while since I've used it, I forget!!

    Glad to have helped. Did the reg file work OK? If it did, most likely I 'copied n pasted' the code leaving a vital piece out!!
