Default How to repair, fix or reproject corrupted t1033.ngr file

    Hi,

I'd like to know how best to fix my t1033.ngr file. After reading the article at WinSxS Folder in Windows 7 explained | WinVistaClub (WinSxS Folder in Windows 7 explained) I have a feeling the only true way is to format-reinstall Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit again! Thanks for any help.

sfc /scannow /offboot /offwindir cannot repair it and I've also tried replacing both files from the install disc to no avail.

    Paths:

    C:\Windows\Speech\Engines\SR\en-US\t1033.ngr
    C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-s..chrecognizerenu.ale_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.1 6385_en-us_2a26b846c28f1791\t1033ngr

    SFC log:

    Thanks for the reply!

I did try a repair first and it didn't help.

I just booted up on a new install on a newly created partition and there's no integrity violations......yeahhhhh, it's so ggod to finally see a clean SFC run!

I never saw a BSOD till recently from upgrading my processor, nor have I had a reason to run SFC till doing so. And, mind you, my first OS was Win 95 when it was released.

I will have to try the processor upgrade again though, when the replacement comes.

Just my luck, the first time ever digging so deep into my laptop only to end up with a defective CPU...arggg
But, it's all good now with a replacement eBay processor, no more violations, app crashes, and/or BSODs.
    Went from a stock AMD V120 2.2 to an N660 3.0 on an Aspire 5251-1513 with 8GB DDR3-1066.
