    Unhappy Unable to install Adobe Reader & MS office. Error 1935

    Dear All,

    I am unable to install Adobe Reader (Tried versions 8, 9, 10, 11). Neither I am able to install MS Office (2007, 2010 & 2013).

    Everytime I am getting the below mentioned error:

    Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly component
    {B708EB72-AA82-3EB7-8BB0-D845BA35C93D}. HRESULT: 0X8007054F

    I have already tried many fixes from Microsoft website. Even tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the .Net framework 4.5 and redistributable 2010.

    I have even tried repairing the registry using CCleaner and also repaired .Net Framework 4.5

    Please help me....

    Hi and welcome to the forums.

    I'll leave detailed answers to others that are much more current than myself. Still, while many claim that CCleaner is totally safe I do not agree. Unless you can manually edit the registry how can you decide what to do with what CCleaner wants to change? CCleaner may well be your problem.

    CCleaner wont really help in such cases.

    Suggested solutions on Microsoft sites are:

    1] Temporarily disable startup progams and try.

    2] Reinstall Windows Installer

    3] Repair, Update or Reinstall .NET Framework
