    Default Can Graphic Card DVI-I (Dual link) be connected?

    Can Graphic Card DVI-I (Dual link) be Connected to LCD monitor that has DVI-D (Dual link) without using an adapter. i want to use dvi, not vga, to get best quality possible

    The difference between the two cables is that DVI-I supports both digital and analog signals, while DVI-D only supports digital signals. The DVI-D cable from my experience, will only read the digital signal coming from the DVI-I connector. The analog signal does not matter here, so it will work.
