Default Re-install system image to raid o array

I would like to swap my hard drive for two SSDs in a RAID 0 configuration. If I make a system image of the entire hard drive onto an external drive, replace the internal drive with the SSDs, make the necessary changes in the BIOS, would I then be able to install the system image from the external hard drive onto the RAID array?
    Thanks for any help.

    Hello there mate!

Technically it should work. You may experience minor hiccp ups when booting. Nothing a Start-up Repair can't fix. But anyhow don't format your old hard drive before you have the SSD working.

    Good Luck!
