Hi,
I am using Windows 8.1 and have set up my OneDrive folder to D: drive by moving it from Documents where it was originally created. However, when I am saving files to the subfolders within OneDrive folder, they are not being uploaded. Do I need to install the OneDrive desktop app? I thought OneDrive will automatically keep both local folder and cloud folder in sync.
One option I see is to disconnect the computer from my hotmail account, create a local account and install Onedrive desktop app but that would be my last resort.
Any suggestions on how to fix this? OneDrive should sync, right?
PS: The Camera Roll feature and sync works when using Android app. The files (documents, spreadsheets) I save locally to OneDrive subfolders (using 8.1 laptop) are not syncing. Earlier I was saving directly to OneDrive but in that case too, they were not synced to local drive.
Thanks

Reason: Add more information
Thank you. I will get back if none of the two methods work.
Update: My OneDrive is set to D:\Onedrive folder. But when I see under location tab of Properties, it says D:\Skydrive. Could it be a problem? Shall I rename the folder to Skydrive?
