ipod is a U.S. trademark owned by Apple (I didn't check other countries): Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS)
portable and handheld digital electronic devices for recording, organizing, transmitting, manipulating, and reviewing audio files; computer software for use in organizing, transmitting, manipulating, and reviewing audio files on portable and handheld digital electronic devices. FIRST USE: 20011023. FIRST USE IN COMMERCE: 20011023
But, that wasn't why I asked what was missing.
listen to them on your iPod/computer.
My MP3 player of choice is my Zune.

iPod is becoming a ubiquitous term; like Kleenex for facial tissue, Scotch Tape for cellulose tape, etc.
Good catch, Corrine! Love my Zune (and the Zune software) too!

Seti, I am not sure you are right. I own a large collection of vinyls (some are even 78's) going back to the 50's and 60's and most of those are nowhere on the web. I think those programs serve a purpose - but maybe not for everyone.

Not everywhere. I use Tissues not a brand name, and celloptate I've not heard of scotch tape. But then my wife says that I am pedantic and do not like calling things by brands but by their function. For example I hate it when people call their cleaner a Hoover, I use a Dyson
