First of all, moving from Opera to Safari is not a good move as far as the performance is concerned. Why don't you try IE8 or Firefox?

Opera is always better than Safari in all the angles.Aren't you happy with FF?

Well then, the best thing would be try Safari out for yourself and see if you like it; although I'd personally root for Opera in this case.

iam but im kind of losing interest in opera..for one, when i switch browsers, opera doesnt let me access current accts on forums and would have to create second accts..and no one knows why this is occuring.

I could not understand what problem you are having with Opera right now. Does it not allow you to login to your accounts?

The solution to your problem can be made very simple.

Install Safari side by side Opera, use it for a week. You shall then have a first hand experience enabling you to make a better decision.

Also, install the Alpha of Opera 10. It has some nice changes under the hood. You can get it from here - Opera Web Browser | Faster & safer | Download the new Internet browsers free
A definite must check out before removing Opera.
