    @roraniel: That is a great deal! I received a link from my academic adviser not to long ago for the same thing, great price!

    @All: Being new to this forum, I've noticed the diff labels of gold member, senior member, admin, MVP, etc... What are the differences and how does one go about "moving up in rank"?

    # of post. I know that I moved from Vista Enthusiast to Senior Member at 120 post. Admin is a site admin and MVP is a designation given by Microsoft for a technical expert. We are currently nominating members for MVP status.

    from my POV. you only get to senior, gold member if you are very active. post, reply etc. and not have sporatic attendance. as for MVP well... you can only become MVP if you have much experience in giving support to others and have a good technical background, thats my reflection upon your question mate.
