I am glad you guys like the video. I originally got that as a 98-03PP presentation with instructions to manually advance the pictures and to click for the color version of the pictures. I converted it to PP07, cleaned it up, automated it and made a video capture of it. The music then was ending at the "Mont St. Michel" picture (which btw. I climbed 2 years ago). I thought for the following Paris pictures the song from Jaques Brel from my music library was appropriate.

Regarding music and PP presentations I made an interesting observation. With my old, slow on-board video card, a song in a PP presentation would last until (let's say) picture number 28. With my new faster 9500GT video card, that same presentation would play the song ending at picture number 34. The song played the same, but the pictures advanced faster. In both cases they were set to advance after e.g. 7 seconds, but the slow on-board graphics just could not do it.

Another interesting observation is regarding the video capture. The capture programs I know allow only 25 or 30 fps (frames per second) as maximum (for the human eye 25 fps is ample anyhow). However, the refresh rate of the screen is 60fps. So if you capture at 30fps, the capture misses every second frame. That makes certain motions - especially fly-ins - very choppy. There is little one can do about it unless you find a capture program that can do 60fps. Here is an example of this phenomenon: (watch the fly-in red writing) Sam's Story on Vimeo This fly-in text runs completely smoothly in the PP presentation.
