Default Is AVG blocking TWC Security Forum?

    Is anyone using AVG here?

If so can you please check up if it is blocking this specific forum URL of The Windows Club? I have been given to understand that this is the case.

For this to occur you have to have the Link Scanner enabled. At least, thats what happened with me in AVG Anti-Virus Free.

What do you get when you click on 'More information about this thread'?

Strange why only the Security Forum is blocked!

Maybe they just do not want their users to visit our Security forums for whatever reasons.

With forums like this one and smaller forums like mine, most helpers know each other from many many other forums. If and when something like this arises, one of us take on the big guns and others support. I can name many situations. What I do not get, is something Corrine tweeted. And that is that this forum is a MS featured community. Why on earth should this site even be blocked.

Maybe it's a glitch, or maybe it isnt. It's just stupid.

Andy, have you made any attempts to contact AVG?

To which AVG had replied: Twitter / AVGFree: @SecurityGarden @TheWindo ...

Perhaps some members here would care to re-tweet Corrine's status Would help ...
