Bluetooth Mouse keeps disconnecting in Windows 8.1
I have Microsoft Bluetooth wedge mouse which I use with my Acer Iconia W700 running Windows 8.1 pro. However the mouse keeps going to sleep and the only way I can find of reawakening it is to repeatedly turn it off and on. How can I make it so the mouse stays on until either I switch it off or close down the receiving computer?
Open Control Panel > Device Manager. Right-click on Bluetooth and select Properties. Uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power, and see if it helps.
Run services.msc to open Services Manager. Check if the Bluetooth Support Service is started and set on Automatic.
