Acer Aspire 7741G, TurboBoost - BIOS w/o Disable My question: where in Windows 7 Pro can I turn off TurboBoost?
Turbo Boost is not directly controllable from the Windows OS. But the following workaround is being suggested. Control Panel > Power Options > Advanced Power Setting > Power Options > Change Maximum processor state from 100% to say 99%. See it this works for you.
