Bluetooth Mouse disconnects regularly - NOT a power config issue
I am running Win 10 on an ASUS laptop. Both are just a few months old.
I just bought a Designer Bluetooth mouse and installed it.
The mouse stops responding every 20 minutes or so. Sometimes it stops after just one minute after I get it reconnected.
I have confirmed I have the latest drivers, both for my mouse, and for the Bluetooth Generic Attrib Service listed in Device Manager.
I also confirmed for Qualcoomm Atheros Bluetooth 4.0 - it did download and install new software, and I did reboot afterward.
I have fresh batteries in the mouse.
Under HID-compliant mouse properties, there IS a checkbox to 'allow the computer to turn off this device to save power'. The checkbox is unchecked and greyed out. (I cannot set or unset it.)
To restart the mouse, I have to use my touchpad to open Action Center, then 'Connect', and it automatically reconnects. Though somtimes it only lasts a minute bore stopping again.
