    Default Disabling auto run in some programs?

    is there an app that can check programs/apps that have auto run activated or not?

    The easiest way to do that is to go to control panel/admin tools then click on services and there is a list of what the start ups are doing along with everyother services. You can stop those which you don't want from there as well. Just be careful to check the dependances which you do by right clicking on the item going for properties and the dependances are there. The other way is to do msconfig which gives a list of auto starts as well

    I see, you talk about the various "autorun.inf" and related malwares which install themselves in memory sticks for example.

    VirusEffectRemover is a free open source project, it detects that kind of malware and some other ones, you can use it if your system is infected and Task Manager, Registry and other Windows features are disabled, you can do many other tasks with it

    I coouldn't remeber the programme earlier but chck out a-squared Hikack free that mugh help you
