    Default Kaspersky Internet security 2009

I have been using this for some time now and would like to recommend it to everyone, particularly those who perhaps are not as tecky minded as others.

All you do is download. get your licence, follow teh instructions and let it do the rest. Once completed it updates and then just runs without problems on your system. You do have to do do scans, but if you do a quick scan it takes less one minute, or you can do an indepth scan which takes longer. It has everything you'd expect from a an internet security suite. Yes it is quite pricey, but I've got it at a very good price thanks to being a student at the moment.

So this is my recommendation. I am sure that others will have different ideas, but if you are looking for a good easy to use one then give it a try.

    Good advice seti,
    thank you.
KIS has a very good firewall too and a very powerful antirootkit module.
And it's light in memory usage

Pricey? It is as good as free! We get pack of 3 licenses for around Rs. 500! If you don't need 3 licenses, share it with friends or what the hack! Gift it to someone. Install in your girlfriend/boyfriend's machine. They will spend less time fighting against malware and more with you

    - Reliability
    - Features
    - Quick Updates
    - Cost of less than a rupee per day!

This really is a great ISS to use! I agree with Seti on everything
    (except it being pricey )

with dicounts available, you can get it at a very good price but the recommmeded price starts off at about 50...so shop around. And that is what I meant by pricy.

    50

They are available in retail shops here at Rs. 450-500 (for 3 license pack) without even asking for any discounts. Yes, MRP mentioned on the 3 license pack is around Rs. 1,800/-. But even that's quite far from 50.

May be I am in the right place at the right time
