Exclamation WinPatrol updated for windows 7

As you know Winpatrol is the must have security application. It has now been upadted for Windows 7. So if you haven't done the update then do so now.

I can never get this program to install. probably just me though, I wouldn't mind giving it a trial run.

It's OK I had to choose a different HD. Strange it wouldn't install onto my C:/ drive though???

If anyone has had this happen to them I would like to know and also if you found a way to install Winpatrol on your C:/ drive.

hi !

seti: "It has now been upadted for Windows 7."

where did you read that ?

iīve just looked at winpatrol.com and i canīt find any info about it.

winpatrol 2009 has been avaliable for some time now, and has worked on W7 too, as far as i know.

if i remember correctly, i installed it on W7 the same day someone announced itīs release here at the forum,
and i īve had no problems...

I read it first at security garden from Corrine then at bits from bill at winpatrol. And finally through the update at update where the version is now 16.1.2009.0:16.1.2009.0 which is why I posted this here.

Do I need to chage any settings on winpatrol or do I just leave it as is? Any tips would be most appreciated.

It is up to you. WinPatrol works great out of the box.

By reviewing what is in startup, you may elect to move some programs to delayed start. If you want to lock file types, I don't believe that is turned on by default.
