    I moved and now using Cox as my ISP provider.
    As a customer, Cox has offered McAfree Security Center for free as part of the service.
    Is McAfee Security Center fair protection for me.

    Well, generally speaking, McAfee Security Center is quite a good security software imo

    Thanks to all of you who replied. I decided to take advantage of the McAfee Security Suite. It's free and should be a decent security system for my needs.

    It should work out well for you. I bet they are the best at testing updates now!!!
