Default Block or Stop SPAM in Hotmail

I am just short of changing my email address due to about 4 or 5 continuous (same) spam I keep getting two or three times a day. Here's what I have done up to now. I use Windows Live Mail, and do not go to off color (sex) sites.

    1. Forward to Abuse@myISP
    2. Add sender to Blocked Senders List
    3. Add sender Domaine@xxxxxx to blocked sender list
    4. Downloaded, and used the Program Spam-fighter which is suppose to be near the top of this type program.

However, these people still get through it.

Does anyone have any good legal ideas other than changing email addresses?

Changing your email address will only solve it for a while.

Spam is a given with any email account. I control it by setting my mail filter so any mail from anyone who is not in my address book goes to the spam folder. Then when I expect an email from someone not in my address book I keep a lookout for it and add then to my safe mail list. Unfortunately keeping your inbox clean involves more work than it used to.

    Continue reporting the Junk mail

Also try blocking Junk mail aggressively for a while.

    Open Hotmail.com > Options > More options.

Here in Filters and reporting, set the junk email filtering level to:

Exclusive - Everything is sent to the junk email folder except messages from your contacts and safe senders, Windows Live Hotmail service announcements, and alerts that you signed up for.

In Windows Live Mail you can open Safety Options and select and set your Junk filter options as you wish.

You should occasionally check your junk email folder to make sure that good messages don't get put there by mistake.

    Hope this helps ...

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions. I have installed Mail Washer, have continued to bombard my ISP with the spams I'm getting and it seems to be working, or at least helping.
