ultra adware checker does nothing!

I was reading the article on ultra adware checker and decided to check it.
Downloaded it from carifred.com and when tried to run, it gives some error and does not run.
The error says that such a file does not exist in the said \dir. Can any1 suggest what's going on.

Oh btw, I just forgot to add, after I downloaded this file from carifred.com, every time I open firefox browser, the 'display download' icon looks as if it is coming from somewhere in the middle of the browser.. can any1 suggest something.

I just downloaded this portable tool to my Windows 8.1 desktop and it worked just fine. If you copy-paste the exact error you receive, it might help.

HappyAndyK, I sure hope our friend's firefox was not ultra adware checkmated.
One has to be careful with some utilities and their programming.
