Default Top free anti-virus programs for Windows 10?

I am using the 64-bit version Windows 10 computer. Looking for a good but free anti-virus software. Any recommendation? Many thanks.

The best bang for your bucks would be Quick Heal antivirus.
Apart from that, Bitdefender and Malwarebytes are leading contenders in any one's mind.

If you want a free Antivirus then try the free version of MalwareBytes.

As far as I know Kaspersky isn't free antivirus. But I am interested in this one. Can you try Kaspersky for free?

Have you tried Windows Security aka Defender? It's a native Security solution that should work for most of the needs. Unless you have specific needs that are not available with it.

You are right. I didn't use this Kaspersky free version yet.

Also, you can try and see which one doesn't slow down your system. For example, run the free version of Novabench a few times and check the scores. Then install one free antivirus and run it again to compare the numbers.
