    Default SysInternals Video

For anybody interested in the Sytem Internals Tools, I recommend to download and watch this excellent video by Mark Russinovich and David Solomon that you find here: ( David Solomon Expert Seminars ). Go to the link where the arrow points:

The total presentation is about 50 minutes and the download file for that is appr. 100MBs. The first 10 minutes are mainly about the history of the tools and may seem a little boring, but once they go into medias res, it is really interesting.
On this site: ( Windows Sysinternals: Documentation, downloads and additional resources ), you can find a lot of additional information about the individual tools.
You can also get the Expert Seminars by David Solomon from the first link. But they are a little pricey.

You don't have to buy anything. There is plenty of info about these programs on the web - and the video I linked is free anyhow. But this is a good documentary to get you started.

The Sysinternal tools are free, btw, and some of them are handy even for the layman.

I had the pleasure and the privilege of chatting with Mark Russinovich for a few minutes, in Seattle when I had gone for the MVP Summit 2008. It was great hearing his talk too !
