If you find that Bing Maps 3D just wont install, follow these troubleshooting steps;

Make sure that you log on to your computer as an administrator before you try the following.

Enter a proxy server address for Windows Internet Explorer.

1. In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

2. On the Connections tab, click LAN settings.

3. Select the Use a proxy server for your LAN check box.

4. In the Address box, enter the address of the proxy server.

5. In the Port box, enter the port number.

6. If your network requires separate proxy addresses for different services, such as HTTP, HTTPS, or FTP, click Advanced, and then enter the individual proxy server addresses to use.

7. Click OK until you return to Internet Explorer.



Set the security settings in Internet Explorer to Medium-high.

1. In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

2. On the Security tab, click Custom level.

3. In the Reset to list, select Medium-high, and then click OK.

4. Click OK.

Install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (or a later version) and Windows Imaging Component.
