    Default Create Shortcut to open Action Center / Review Problem Reports in Windows 7

    Here is how you can create a desktop shortcut to open Action Center / Review Problem Reports in Windows 7

    Create a new shortcut with this path:

    explorer shell:::{26EE0668-A00A-44D7-9371-BEB064C98683}\0\::{BB64F8A7-BEE7-4E1A-AB8D-7D8273F7FDB6}\pageProblems

    Name the shortcut: Problem Reports.

    Change icon from: ActionCenterCPL.dll

    HappyAndyK: Sorry about that. I re-tested it and it works on my W7 64-bit Home Premium.
    There's a missing "l" at the end of ActionCenterCPL.dl: Shall read: ActionCenterCPL.dll. Have edited and corrected it in my post.

    ^^^ I have also many times seen posts from intowindows.com and nirmaltv.com appear on your blog just after they have posted --- what about that???

    Hmm ... most such information is out there in the public domain.

    Windows Command Guide 2010

    Canonical Names of Control Panel Items (Windows)

    But then maybe its a coincidence or maybe not. If japp has found it at askvg, maybe he should acknowledge it else atleast quote the. japp is a member in good standing. Lets wait for his clarification, if any.

    ^^ Thanks for your gentle reply. I appreciate it. Actually if it was a news or software review, I would have not bothered about it but you cant say it a coincidence. That's true that the CLSID is mentioned at Microsoft website but can you consider it as coincidence that I posted about creating shortcut for Problem reports 2 days back and today japp posts about the same thing? Why would he want to post this particular thing? He would have posted to create shortcuts to many other things instead but why only Problem Reports shortcut?

    @Matrix
    I dont want to argue with you but to clear your doubts! I dont visit intowindows but Nirmaltv along with a few other websites including Windowsclub are included in my RSS feeder and I always put credits and source link to a website if I take something from it.

    I can show you many such examples and post links to various AskVG articles which contain credits and source links to NirmalTV, gHacks and many other websites but if I post the links here, it might be considered as spamming as those articles have nothing to do with this topic. If you have time, you can find many such articles at AskVG.com.
