Be aware, if you choose to download and install the Skydrive-apps, then it will automatically download everything (!?) from your skydrive into your computer !
If you use Skydrive to fx. keep backup-files safe, then you will get copies on your harddisk.
This is really stupid, of course there should be an option to select if files should be downloaded onto the computer, and also an option to select which files / folders.
I uploaded copies to Skydrive just to have safe backup-copies.
I don´t want any files downloaded, i already have them on my harddisk...

That's fine with me. I use SkyDrive as a redundant storage area. I can edit it at home, save it to my SkyDrive folder and have the most recent copy when I'm out traveling and go to work on the same document.
Depends on how you use it, really. But, thanks for the heads up.
I did this also and after thinking about it I like that idea. now when I edit a file in the skydrive folder it is sync to all PC's and apps. I use Skydrive as a cloud
yes it downloads them to the Skydrive Folder on your comnputer.
I use it as a cloud backup as well. I use synctoy to sync my critical folders to my skydrive folder every couple days. You really cant beat 25gb of free cloud drive storage.
