.exe files not being opened in Windows

I tried to install a game using an extraction software known as 7-zip. I used it as OPEN WITH. By mistake I kept it as "Set as default". Now I cannot open any .exe files or play any games that is in my PC. Also, I cannot even backup my computer. And, Install any files. My OS is Windows 7 Home Basic. PLEASE HELP......................
