    Default About Windows XP SP2 and Virtual Machine

    hi all,

    I am using windows xp sp2 with 512 RAM and a 40 GB hard disk capacity (small size for now). can such computers be installed virtual machine?

    Hi rembul, you mean to say you want to run other OS as virtual machine? Which OS you want to run on VM? I think 512MB RAM is too little as you have to specify RAM for the guest OS, so it'll not be sufficient to run your XP and VM.
    First your hardware/processor should support Virtualization, option can be checked in BIOS and has to be enabled and min of 4GB RAM...
