If you replace your running W7 with the W10TP, make sure you have proper images of the W7 system so that you can backpaddle. After all W10TP is only a Beta version full of bugs and the operational interface is very different to W7 - you may not like it.

I hope you realize that you are "upgrading" to a beta version of Windows 10 that is still quite buggy. And if you have problems in your current OS, I recommend not to upgrade but to make a fresh install with the Windows 10 ,iso. Else you will propagate your current problems to the new installation.

I would make a pure reinstallation of Windows 10 when the offcial release is available.
backup files of system partition and resintal system.
