Default Cannot send or receive file via Bluetooth in Windows 10

If cannot send or receive file via Bluetooth and are having problems sharing files, you may follow this procedure:

1] Confirm that both your device are paired. On your Windows PC, open Settings > Devices > Bluetooth, and make sure the other device shows as Paired

2] When sending and receiving files, you have to ensure that both your devices do not go to sleep.

3] Windows 10 supports the Bluetooth Object Push Profile, so make sure the other device supports the OPP profile too.

4] Now open Settings > Devices > Bluetooth > Click on Send or receive files via Bluetooth and then select Receive files.

    Hope this helps.

There are many factors can influence the signal of Bluetooth. You should check:

    1. whether there are other devices with signal nearby, if so, turn off them for a while

    2. you have switched on the button that allows PC to use Bluetooth

    3. be sure the distance between devices is not so far

If the Bluetooth still fails to work, you can employ a program to help you transfer files. AirMore is a nice and free tool to transfer files between phone and PC on the web.
