Computing is not just Windows and we all have our personal preference for
    general use.

Carey was quoting from the article..

Some go back to XP because programs they use are not supported in Vista.

Some go back to XP because they can't find a way to turn UAC off..

Some go back to XP because they do not like change.

Some go back to XP because they have been scared into doing so by all of the
FUD, most of which is old and where many of the early issues have been
    fixed..

Perhaps you might like to outline the changes you see as so difficult to
learn in Vista. Where a new Vista user has not heard all of the FUD, there
is a tendency to get along very well with it..

It's a pretty big stretch to reach that conclusion on the basis of what
was said above. Point is - it's a little different and some folks are
afraid of 'newness' - not realizing it would probably take less time for
them to adjust to Linux than to a new MS version.

Who needs to use a command line? That is so 1980's! No wonder why
Linux/Ubuntu is only on less than ONE percent of the desktops. It is
cryptic, doesn't work with the most popular programs out there and it's
FREE. Imagine a FREE product that NOBODY wants. You would think that WORD
OF MOUTH would propell this product into greatness with everyone rushing to
    get it.

Got news for you. Nobody is rushing to get Linux/Ubuntu on the desktop.
Just isn't going to happen. Ubuntu is good to do a few things like Alias
has shown. You can post annoying messages using Ubuntu and calculate maybe
10-20 numbers in their spreadsheet, write a simple letter to MOM, and draw
stick figures in their presentation software.

Leave Ubuntu to the geeks who can't get laid and for real work, use
    Microsoft products.

There is a computer super store proudly presenting Ubuntu pre-installed
systems on display in my neighborhood in UK. Well, these are the signs of
    things to come.

Those signs will disappear soon enough. People would rather pay more for a
    Mac..

Since when are you welcome here? NOBODY wants to use Ubuntu on their
machines because Ubuntu is FREE and NBODODY wants it on their desktop.
Ubuntu is just a toy OS for geeks who have trouble with their social skills.

To do real work you need a real operating system. Microsoft supplies those
    Operating Systems.

Imagine, people would rather PAY to use Microsoft products then to use FREE
OpenSores products. That should tell you what you need to know about Ubuntu
and the idiots who try and preach it here in vista land.

I have just as much a right to post here as anyone else.

    A lie.

    Another lie.

    My, my, another lie.

    More lies.

It tells me that you're a liar but that's nothing new.

Clearly, Windows is far superior to Linux is the "Real World" of computing!
