Exclamation X-Fi XtremeGamer and Windows Vista

Is anyone else having problems with the X-Fi XtremeGamer sound card and Vista? For some reason, every time I log in, the Windows Vista Start up sound starts to snap, crackle and pop. I have installed the latest drivers, disabled the on board sound and have the latest drivers. I have sent my sound card back to Creative a number of times but everyone they have sent me back does exactly the same thing. Any ideas guys?

    Look here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-Fi

Under Sound Issues with Crackling and Popping

I set mine to Audio Creation Mode and turned on Bit Matched Playback and it
    fixed it

Well that seems to be working so far! Thanks for the advice.

Well it turns out that this didn't fix the problem completely. It doesn't snap, crackle and pop every time but still does from time to time. Any more suggestions?
