Default Access denied to most administrative tools

As this is my first ever post in this forum I would like to say Hi to everyone.

I used one of the tips here, using Task Scheduler to run programs with highest privileges bypassing UAC prompts. I went one step further and followed another tip and created shortcuts for those programs running with highest privileges in Task Scheduler. Everything was working fine until last week when I found I had lost the ability to access most of the administrative tools. I get this message:

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

I was accessing these tools a few weeks ago and I am logged in as administrator, something went wrong somewhere I just don't know what. What can I check or do in my note book that can help me rectify this problem? Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

You can login with this one that has more power than the one you are using
    and troubleshoot.
