Default IE not responding, performance lags alot

ive been getting not responding error a lot lately. and pages take time to load. almost reminescent of the time i had dialup lol. recently, i downloaded a program called windowblinds..it tweaks your OS' theme. its really a fun and cool feature.and hate to have this as the main cause. i keep daily tabs on how much resource i use up.

    any thoughts?

Well, the best way to find out would be to un-install it and use the PC for a couple of days. Wind Blinds does consume a good amount of system resources. But, IE hanging due to Windows Blinds is weird. Try un-installing and also using another theme, maybe the 1 that you are using has some issue.

Try to run IE (No Add-ons).
This opens up the browser without loading any add-ons, toolbars or plug-ins.

There are many reasons. In most of the cases Adobe Flash player plugin is the culprit. If you have Flash Player plugin, just uninstall it and try browsing.

    Try This !

    Run Internet Explorer without add-ons

Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> System Tools >> Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)

If IE works fine....then definitly any add-on is causing the problem.

well i took a new direction by disabling IPV6 network connection..seeing that is always limited connection and is hardly ever relied upon ,after i disabled it, seems to be ok..not five star great but tolerable within reason.

Usually when I have IE issues, a quick reboot of my router/modem seem to bring it back to life.
