    Default double layer dvd + R ok with vista?

    i normally use 4.7 GB discs to save files..would switching to double layered 8.5 GB discs be ok? would like to know before i buy it, its on sale lol

    Of course, you can switch to Dual layer DVDs.Make sure your optical drives supports dual layer.

    I would say look in the Device Manager for make and model of the burner and the Google that. Then that should give you all the information you need.
