    Default Deleting previous restore points?

    wondering if ok to use disk cleanup to delete previous restore points? ive been doing a lot of archiving via DVD+R discs lately..

    Why would you want to do this? The shadowstorage will fill up again over time and there is really nothing to be gained. If you need the space on the disk, you need to resize the shadowstorage (although I do not recommend that). And, rather than using DVD's for backing up data, I highly recommend an external disk, preferably a Maxtor One Touch (250GB) because that comes with all the backup and imaging software. And once you image your system on a regular basis, you can get rid of the shadowstorage or parts of it.

    wish this forum had a 500GB external hard drive you can win worth 200 dollars lol..cuz i cant aford one even under 100 dollars is impossible..though maxtor is a good brand.. well thx for reply mate
