Default UltimateDefrag or other freeware defragger inquiry.

ultamite defrag is it very reliable to use? iam thinking of getting this as a replacement of the one thats already installed in vista. meaning, disable that feature and replace with this one. good idea or not?

I would not do that. Granted, the Vista defrag is not the swiftest. But since it runs in the background, what do you care. Frequent defragging is a mistake anyhow. Once a week should be ample.

try Auslogic defrager it is quick and simple to use and does the job. Once a week is the best idea, but be sure to remove the clutter before you do so, using ccleaner or glary utililites otherwise you'll be defraging that as well.

I would be careful with the Free Registry Defragmenter. That can be very unhelpful.

^ Why ? have you had a bad experience with it ? I have used it without any issues, although you dont really need to use it, I agree.
