Default Show / hide desktop icons inquiry

is there like a program that allows you to hide desktop icons for a more cleaner appearance? but able to show by hovering cursor near edge of screen?

In use RocketDock. There are several out there.

You can see what it looks like in the share your desktop thread. I have it set to auto hide and it pops up when you hover like you mentioned. I turned that off for the screen shot in the other thread.

Edit: The coolest feature is that you can use image files for the icons so there are some pretty cool icons for almost any program that can be downloaded.

I will be posting my new Windows 7 Desktop tonight!!!!!

    Explain?

Docking is what I thought you were after when you mentioned the hover feature.

I have used RocketDock for a year with no issues. You just drag any app to the dock and the shortcut works flawlessly.

Go to www.altools.net and down allzip. It is a very handy tool that extracts over 35 file formats
