Is vista sp2 beta stable?

Hi, I hav not installed the vista sp2. Its still in beta right? Should i need to install it? i hav vista sp1 now.

has anyone installed it here? is it safe or should i wait for the final version? and where can i download this beta from? sorry for so many questions.

not much changes in sp2 so i dint go 2 install sp2 .. so if ui hav sp1 its enuf...check microsoft site for sp2 don bother installing..

I had installed SP2 when it was released. There were no major performance improvements. Uninstalled it just 15 days back and enjoying Windows 7 BETA now.

I have it installed and have no problems with it at all. Doesn't seem to make any difference in performance, but I'll keep it on. If really want to see a difference in everything go for Windows 7

OK Thank you all for answering. i guess i will wait for sp2 final. reg windows7 i will see if someone has its dvd as i wont be able to download such big file.

^ Yes, you if you are on 256 kbps then it's really hard to download Windows 7..Took me 2 days to finish the download.

You can try SP2 beta over Vista SP1 as update. its stable than SP1.
As SP2 goes RTW, you can just uninstall and get RTW bits n upgrade to Vista SP2.
