    Default "Connect to" button problem

Hi. I am having a problem with "Connect to a network" button in Start Menu. Every time I open it, appears a blank window. "Connect to" doesn`t respond. Until now everything was fine, I don`t know how to resolve this problem.

    I appreciate your help

Try to remove, then add, the Connect To link and see if that fixes the problem.
Right-click the Start button, properties, Start Menu tab>Customize, and remove the dot beside 'Connect To'. Click OK. I would do a restart, then repeat the process, adding a dot in the circle beside Connect To. Click OK and see if that resolves the problem.

Still the same problem. ``Connect to`` button does work but it takes to long to respond.

It could possibly be a script problem, and you may have to re-register some dll's. Not sure if it will help, but no harm done trying. Try to re-register the following dll files in System32 folder. If you don't find the files, then try to extract then from your Vista setup DVD and copy them to System32 folder first.

    vbscript.dll
    jscript.dll
    mshtml.dll

How to Register / Un-register dll's can be found on HERE.
