    Default Explorer preview pane is black - how to make it white again?

    I am having a problem with the preview pane. My preview pane it`s black. I want to change the color, I want the default color, white.

    I don`t know how to solve this problem

    1. Open my computer, right click on c: drive, select properties, then click on disk cleanup to run it, it will take sometime to scan for dump files then scroll down the list of options available.

    2. Make sure the "Thumbnails" option is selected, then click "ok" and after it click "Delete Files".

    3. Give a reboot and check.

    Do one more thing....Change your Aero theme to Windows Classic and revert back to aero.

    thanks .It works. But the windows 7 theme makes the preview pane black, and the default theme of windows makes it normal, white.

    it is set by the theme maker, so it is black there.....
