    Default Persistent BSOD on Vista

Hi, I'm new. Hoping someone can help me with this...I've been having the same stop error repeatedly for a while now and can't seem to fix it.

This is what showed up yesterday after the crash:

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: 9f
    BCP1: 00000003
    BCP2: 8A1626F0
    BCP3: 89FB8028
    BCP4: A9FCE968
    OS Version: 6_0_6002
    Service Pack: 2_0
    Product: 768_1

This error seems to happen randomly, not just when changing power state. I think all my drivers are up to date and I haven't been able to pinpoint the source of the problem.
This error is causing crashes about every 10 minutes at the moment.

Any help would be much appreciated!

The Bug Check Code 9f which you have mentioned, refers to : DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

Although it refers to XP, pls see if Troubleshooting a Stop 0x9F Error helps you.

Windows Vista Stop Errors Or Blue Screen Guide may give you additional help.
