I have a little problem my windows vista aero theme disappeared and only I have a black screen. I went to C/windows/resources/them
There I see
Aero folder
Aero
WindowsClassic
So I clicked on them and reinstal, but when I rightclick on desktop then personalize and choose them still my vista ero gives a black screen, what shoul I do.
Have you checked your services to make sure themes aren't disabled? If not try
Start Menu/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services Make sure Themes service is not disabled
If that doesn't work try the system file checker
Go to Start Menu/All Programs/Accessories, right click the Command Prompt item and select the 'Run As Administrator' option.
click Continue on the UAC prompt,In the command window, copy and paste or type SFC /SCANNOW ,Press ENTER. It may take a little while but if you have corrupt files it should fix the problem
Go to Visual Appearance.
If Aero Glass is working, you'll get a screen which lets you change your color scheme.
If not ,you'll get the classic appearance properties screen. In here, see if the color scheme is set to
to Windows Vista Aero instead of Vista Basic.
