Why do you want to do that?
As far as I know that works only fat to ntfs, but not the other way as you want to do. But what is the big deal backing up 48GBs.
Thanks god!! A News show me the solution, it is NTFS to FAT32 Converter, say truely, a new product alway makes me worry about its reliability.....Does anyone have used it??
Try Norton Partition Magic 8......may this help you....the only Partition Manager that i trust....
I suggest to take backup first before try anything...
First take backup and re-format as FAT32. But I wonder why do you want to convert NTFS to FAT32 or should I say "Why do you want to downgrade your hdd file system?"
Because NTFS has lots of advantages over FAT32.
Yeah as rk said before doing anything like this you should backup the data..... earlier i too also lost my whole data and it really hurts...
Precaution is better than cure.....
I think backup in advance is the safest way.
Of course Red Moon :-)
I'm having hand ready backup of mine :-)
You can easily convert NTFS to FAT32 without losing any data and do not have to format the partition.
Open Command Prompt
Start | All Programs | Accessories | Command Prompt
OR
Start | Run | type "cmd" without quotes | OK
Type "convert drive letter: /fs:ntfs" and press Enter. For example, type "convert C: /fs:ntfs" (without quotes) if you want to convert drive C.
If you're asked whether you want to dismount the drive, agree.
